The Mazda 3 2003 to 2009 model has a pcd of 5x114.3 and will take alloy wheels from 15x6" up to 19x8.5" without any clearance issues as long as the alloy wheels have an offset of between ET40 and ET45.
The recomended tyre sizes for this car are as follows 15" = 195/65/15, 16" = 205/55/16, 17" = 225/50/17, 18" = 225/35/18, 19" = 215/35/19
